Booking & Cancellation Policy
When you book a ZenMuma training course, your place is confirmed once we have received either the full course payment or the required deposit.
Deposits and Payment Plans
Where a payment plan is offered, the deposit secures your place on the training and the remaining balance must be paid according to the payment schedule provided at the time of booking.
Your booking is not fully paid until all instalments have been received.
By choosing a payment plan, you are committing to the full cost of the training course. A payment plan is provided as a way to spread the cost and is not a monthly subscription that can be cancelled at any time.
If a payment is missed, we will contact you and give you the opportunity to bring your payment plan up to date. If payment remains outstanding, we reserve the right to suspend access to training materials and/or treat your booking as cancelled.
Please note that we cannot release your certification until the payment plan has been completed.
If You Cancel Your Training
If you need to cancel your place, please contact ZenMuma in writing as soon as possible.
All bookings, deposits and payments made towards ZenMuma training courses are non-refundable and non-transferable to another training date.
This is because your place is reserved specifically for you and we begin committing time, resources, training materials and administration to your booking from the point your place is confirmed.
If you have chosen a payment plan and decide not to attend or complete the training, any remaining payments will still be due in accordance with the payment schedule agreed at the time of booking.
In exceptional circumstances, ZenMuma may choose to offer an alternative arrangement at our discretion. This is not guaranteed and will be considered on an individual basis.
If You Cannot Attend Part of Your Training
If you are unable to attend a scheduled training day or session, please let us know as soon as possible.
Your booking cannot automatically be transferred to another course or training date.
Where possible, we may offer an alternative way for you to complete missed elements of the course. This will be at ZenMuma's discretion and may involve an additional charge.
Online Training and Course Materials
Where your training includes online learning, recorded content, manuals, workbooks or other digital resources, these are provided for your personal use as part of your ZenMuma training.
Course materials must not be copied, shared, reproduced, resold or distributed to another person without prior written permission from ZenMuma.
Access to online training materials may be suspended if agreed course payments are outstanding.
Course Completion and Certification
Booking and paying for a ZenMuma training course does not automatically guarantee certification.
To receive your certificate, you must complete the requirements of your chosen training. This may include attendance, online learning, assignments, practical teaching, assessments, case studies or other course requirements.
All course fees must also be paid in full before certification can be issued.
If ZenMuma Changes a Training Date
Occasionally, circumstances outside our control may mean that we need to change a training date, venue, trainer or element of a course.
We will always aim to give you as much notice as possible and provide a suitable alternative.
Where necessary, training may be moved to an alternative date, venue or delivered online.
If ZenMuma Cancels a Training
In the unlikely event that ZenMuma has to cancel a training course, we will contact you as soon as possible and explain the options available.
Depending on the circumstances, these may include an alternative training date, credit towards another ZenMuma training course or a refund of the payments you have made to us.
ZenMuma cannot be responsible for additional costs you have arranged separately, including travel, accommodation or childcare.
Your Responsibility
It is your responsibility to ensure that the training you are booking is suitable for you and that you meet any prerequisites or entry requirements stated for the course.
Where training includes practical yoga, movement or relaxation exercises, you are responsible for working within your own comfortable limits and letting your trainer know about anything that may affect your participation.
Agreement to These Terms
By booking a ZenMuma training course and making either a deposit, an instalment payment or payment in full, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Booking & Cancellation Terms.
Nothing in these terms affects any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Booking Terms & Conditions
These Booking Terms & Conditions apply to training courses booked with ZenMuma. By making a booking, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.
1. Your Booking
A booking is confirmed once ZenMuma receives the required deposit, first instalment or full payment and sends confirmation of your booking.
The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring that all information supplied is accurate and that they meet any entry requirements or prerequisites stated for the chosen training course.
Your booking is for the specific course and training dates selected at the time of booking.
2. Course Prices
The price and inclusions for each ZenMuma training course will be clearly shown on the relevant course or booking page.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, travel, accommodation, meals, childcare, insurance and any other personal expenses are not included in the course fee.
3. Deposits and Payment Plans
Where a deposit is required, this secures your place and forms part of the total training fee.
If you choose a payment plan, the remaining balance will be payable according to the payment schedule provided at the time of booking.
A payment plan is offered as a way of spreading the cost of your training. It is not a monthly subscription. By selecting a payment plan, you are committing to payment of the full course fee.
You are responsible for ensuring that payments are made on time.
If an instalment becomes overdue, we will contact you and give you the opportunity to bring your payment plan up to date.
If payment remains outstanding, ZenMuma reserves the right to suspend access to course materials, prevent attendance at further training sessions and/or treat your booking as cancelled.
All outstanding course fees must be paid before certification can be issued.
4. Cancellations by You
If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify ZenMuma in writing as soon as possible.
All ZenMuma bookings, deposits and course payments are non-refundable and non-transferable to another training date.
Your place is reserved specifically for you and we begin committing time, administration, course preparation, training resources and teaching capacity from the point your booking is confirmed.
If you have chosen a payment plan and later decide not to attend or complete your training, the remaining course balance will still be payable in accordance with the payment schedule agreed at the time of booking.
In exceptional circumstances, ZenMuma may choose to offer an alternative arrangement at our discretion. Any such arrangement is considered individually and does not create an obligation for ZenMuma to offer the same arrangement in other circumstances.
Nothing in these terms affects any statutory rights which cannot legally be excluded.
5. Transferring Your Place
Bookings are made for a specific person and specific training date and are therefore non-transferable.
You may not transfer your booking to another course date or another person without prior written agreement from ZenMuma.
In exceptional circumstances, ZenMuma may agree to a transfer at its discretion. Any transfer may be subject to availability, additional training costs and/or an administration fee.
6. Missed Training Days or Sessions
If you are unable to attend part of your training, please contact ZenMuma as soon as possible.
We cannot guarantee that missed sessions can be repeated or transferred to another course date.
Where possible, ZenMuma may offer an alternative method of completing missed elements of the training. This may include attendance on a future training day, online learning or additional tuition.
Any alternative arrangements are at ZenMuma's discretion and may incur an additional charge.
7. Changes to Training
Occasionally, we may need to make changes to training dates, venues, trainers, schedules, course content or the way in which training is delivered.
Small changes that do not materially affect the overall course may be made where necessary.
Where circumstances require it, ZenMuma may deliver part or all of the training online or at an alternative venue.
If we need to make a significant change, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and explain the options available.
8. Cancellation by ZenMuma
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a training course where reasonably necessary, including where circumstances outside our control make delivery of the training impractical, unsafe or impossible.
If ZenMuma cancels a training course, we will contact you as soon as possible and explain the options available.
Depending on the circumstances, these may include:
transfer to an alternative training date;
transfer to another suitable ZenMuma course;
credit towards future ZenMuma training; or
a refund of payments made for the training cancelled by ZenMuma.
ZenMuma cannot be responsible for additional costs you have arranged independently, including travel, accommodation or childcare.
9. Circumstances Outside Our Control
Training may occasionally be affected by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, illness, venue closure, transport disruption, government action, public health restrictions or other unforeseen circumstances.
Where this happens, we will do everything reasonably possible to continue or rearrange the training appropriately.
This may include changing the venue, changing the training date or delivering training online.
10. Course Entry Requirements
You are responsible for checking that you meet any entry requirements or prerequisites stated for your chosen training course.
11. Course Completion and Certification
Booking and paying for a ZenMuma training course does not automatically guarantee certification.
To receive your qualification or certificate, you must satisfactorily complete all requirements associated with the course.
Depending on the training, these may include:
attendance at training sessions;
practical teaching;
assignments or written work;
any other requirements explained as part of your training.
ZenMuma reserves the right to request further work, evidence or practical assessment where required before issuing certification.
Certificates will not be issued until all course requirements have been completed and the training fees have been paid in full.
12. Online Learning and Digital Materials
Some ZenMuma training courses include online learning, recorded training, downloadable resources, manuals, workbooks or other digital materials.
Online course access is provided to the named trainee only.
Logins and course materials must not be shared with another person.
ZenMuma reserves the right to suspend access to online materials where payments remain outstanding or where course materials are being misused.
13. Intellectual Property
All ZenMuma course manuals, videos, presentations, worksheets, recordings, teaching resources, course structures, branding and training materials remain the intellectual property of ZenMuma or the relevant rights holder.
Training materials are provided for your own learning and professional use.
They must not be copied, reproduced, distributed, uploaded, shared, sold or used to provide teacher training to others without prior written permission from ZenMuma.
Completion of a ZenMuma course does not give you permission to reproduce or teach ZenMuma teacher-training content.
14. Health, Wellbeing and Participation
Some ZenMuma training involves yoga, movement, relaxation, breathing techniques, practical teaching and partner work.
You are responsible for deciding whether participation in the training and practical activities is appropriate for you.
Please inform your trainer of any relevant circumstances that may affect your participation where it is reasonably necessary for us to support you appropriately.
You should work within your own individual capabilities and seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional if you are unsure whether an activity is suitable for you.
15. Professional Responsibility
ZenMuma training provides education within the scope of the individual course.
Following qualification, you are responsible for working within your own competence and professional scope.
You are also responsible for ensuring that you meet any requirements relevant to your own teaching or professional practice, including appropriate insurance, safeguarding, first aid, venue requirements and any professional or regulatory obligations that apply to you.
16. Behaviour
Our training courses are designed to create welcoming, respectful and supportive learning environments.
We reserve the right to take reasonable action where a trainee behaves in a way that seriously affects the safety, wellbeing or learning experience of trainers or other participants.
In serious circumstances, this may include asking a trainee to leave the course.
17. Photography and Marketing
We may occasionally take photographs or video during ZenMuma training.
Where identifiable images are intended for promotional or marketing use, we will seek appropriate permission or provide trainees with an opportunity to tell us that they do not wish to be photographed.
You are welcome to let your trainer know at any time if you would prefer not to appear in photographs or video.
18. Complaints
If something is not right during your ZenMuma training, please let your trainer or a member of the ZenMuma team know as soon as possible so that we have an opportunity to resolve it.
If the issue cannot be resolved during your training, please contact us in writing at:
hello@zenmuma.co.uk
We aim to deal with concerns fairly, promptly and respectfully.
19. Your Legal Rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable UK consumer law.
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
